Meet Christy Song, LMFT-S

Founder of Ember & Bloom Therapy Co.

I didn’t build Ember & Bloom because everything in this field worked beautifully.

I built it because I saw, over and over again, how often it didn’t.

As a therapist, supervisor, and Clinical Director, I’ve spent years inside the mental health system. I’ve supported clients in crisis, trained and mentored clinicians, and held the weight of ethical decision-making in complex, high-stakes environments. And through all of it, one truth kept rising to the surface:

Too many people are still not receiving care that actually sees them.

Especially those navigating trauma.
Especially those exploring identity.
Especially those in queer and non-traditional relationships.

I created Ember & Bloom as a response to that gap.

What Makes Ember & Bloom Therapy Co, PLLC Different?

Client-First Approach

We begin our care from a “no matter the cost” approach. There is no moral value to money, and we work hard to be accessible to as many as we can. We focus on being accessible, especially to marginalized communities.

Decolonial Mindset

Our work is research-based, but heavily rooted in identifying and rooting out our own oppressive mindsets, and helping our clients also grow through and beyond those limits. Stay tuned for additional offerings in this topic!

We Pay a Competitive Wage

Our interns are paid, our clinicians are paid a livable wage, and also participate in profit-sharing, and get benefits, along with PTO. Cared for clinicians care for clients better. We root the basis of our care models on the idea of healthy clinicians have better client outcomes.
